An Activator is a hand held Chiropractic Adjusting instrument that can be used to provide a pre-set force and depth of thrust.  It is a pain free, very low force technique, that allows for manipulation of bony misalignments.  This is a great technique for patients who do not like the audible release associated with the traditional Chiropractic approach.  It is also a great technique to be used on children and the elderly, in that there is very minimal risk associated with the adjustment.
